If UPS’s are the heart of every critical environment, then batteries are definitely the soul. Batteries are what provides emergency to multiple systems in a critical environment (i.e., Telecom equipment, UPS’s, PLC switchgear, generators). Properly maintained sealed battery systems typically have a lifespan of 4-5 years, while flooded battery systems can expect lifespans of 10-20 years. Effective preventive maintenance plans allow our customers to get the longest service life from their battery systems, while also providing the ability to proactively budget, and schedule repairs/replacements of failing elements within normal maintenance windows.
